BM is literally the most mobile ranged class in the game with ZERO cast time on any of our abilities except wailing arrow (optional) so on fights with lots of movement we are king.
as BM our pets can temporarily tank while a tank gets a battle rez or whatever, we have ice trap which is a solid CC, as well as a bunch of other utility we can talent (tranq shot is excellent on some affixes), etc.īeing ranged is also a plus, we can more easily avoid ground effects. We also bring lust, which is very desirable (literally needed for any serious M+ run). Without those, BM is a bit lackluster, but MM is doing fine (def not top but more than enough to pull our weight). With the 4 set bonus and the raid (raz) bow, hunters are one of the best single target classes in the game right now and totally hold their own on AoE as well. Literally all classes are viable my friend and hunters are far from being the less desirable class in a M+ so first thing you need to do is get rid of that uncertainty. I just run my own keys until they're too high for me->drop em down lower in valdrakken-> continue to run them some more. Run your own keys! Spending forever in que stinks. Turns out that at the start its better to just use them on cooldown, eventually fine tuning the timing with experience. I realized after like 10 dungeons that the reason my damage was so low is because I'm always looking for the best moment to press my big cds. best to just ask what your tank wants to save the headache of them taking their frustration out on you.ĭon't be afraid to use cooldowns. I've been pugging a ton and have heard every answer under the sun. It's our biggest selling point atm sadly and groups will not be happy if you don't bring one.Īlong with the lust pet, I'd make sure to ask when they want the lust. Get a lust pet and get comfortable using it. Seems like every heal spec nowadays has an aoe on the ground to heal. I know it sucks that we have to abandon our class fantasy to stack with the melee but I've learned healers REALLY don't like us when we don't. The three star one is like a 150k heal for me costing 6 gold. They're unironically our best defensive in m+. As someone who has only done LFR since legion and recently picked up m+, I can share the few things I've learned so far!īuy healing potions.
